It is taught, among the ZirCong, “to know where you are, look up – see what is around you. And if you were to close your eyes, that also would be the world. That also would be the Building. Only a fool needs a map”.

It is rumoured, that on a battlefield once, a great RoMayZine general, when asking for a map of the terrain, on being reminded of those teachings, said: “Bah! Only a fool needs the ZirCong”.

Later, SurGaKu philosophers appeared to side with the ZirCong. One wrote: “A map is useful. Yet, consider: which map do you choose? Does the map plot the blades of grass, the coldness of the water in a stream? And does the map also have a map, so we may know where it lies?”
